Aura Garrido is a Spanish actress that works in film and TV. She appeared in films like Stockholm and the television show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido began her career in Madrid, in 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father is an orchestra conductor and composer, while Pilar Sanchez paints. In her fourth year she started lessons in piano and soon after, she began ballet. She speaks English due to her English-speaking best friend growing up. When she completed her high school studies, she joined the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico. The school taught textual and interpretive interpretation in her third years. Her nomination for a Goya Award in the category of"Best Emerging" actor, and was awarded the Silver Biznaga award for her part in the film.
