Sharon Yvonne Stone is the only daughter born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, an engineer and tool maker. She was also a worker in a factory. She was born on the 10th of March, 1958, in Meadville Pennsylvania. Stone has three brothers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was regarded as academically gifted when she started two grades when she was five. She graduated with a high school certificate in Saegertown which is located in Saegertown situated in Pennsylvania in 1975. She was also a contestant in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone, along with her aunt, in 1977 made the move in New Jersey for a modeling job. She was signed by Ford Modeling Agency a week further. Then, she relocated to Europe and spent an entire year living in Milan as well as Paris. Stone was disillusioned by the model business in Europe she decided to pursue acting instead. Stone appeared in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" at the age of twenty. The film was met with mixed reviews.
